Boys U13's Spitfires - Poppy's

Stockton U12 boys got their season up and running with a resounding 6-1  victory in their first competitive game at home against Poppys FC. 

The boys started strongly playing against the wind but had to wait until midway through the first half to get the breakthrough with Ronnie latching onto a through ball and finishing at the near post. 

William added a second soon after and they went into half time at 2-0.

Stockton picked up where they left off in the second half, playing some lovely football going forward and staying very disciplined in defence. 

Ronnie scored his second just after the break before Alfie broke through and got his first of the season after a strong run. 

The boys kept up the momentum and Ben smashed in a fifth.

Poppys managed to snatch consolation at the end but there was still time for Ronnie to  complete his trick as he reacted quickly in the box to bundle the ball home. 

Outstanding performance from every single player.
