Parents Man of the Match Marley

Well that was some game, we weren't good in the first half, but there was a big improvement in the 2nd half thankfully, even though we nearly gave it away, but with some great play from Alfie and Nathanial we managed to get our winner. If we're going to get promotion next year we need to be getting the ball down on the floor and playing simple but effective football, we did this at times through the 2nd half but not enough, to many times looking for the long ball, which was giving them the ball back far to many times which puts the pressure back on us.

Parents Man of the Match was Marley, he's in some fine form right now, he played in 3 positions today and was brilliant in everyone of them, he should of had a penalty for sure to, he's going to be a very important player for us next season.

My Man of the Match was birthday boy Alfie, he changed the game when he come on, he was everywhere and got himself a couple of great assists, one of his best games for us this season.

A couple of shout outs Nathanial again was on fire and clinical, he could of had 5 today if there linesman wasn't cheating, but he kept his head up and still banged in another hat trick, his 3rd goal with his head from a great ball from Alfie was top quality, if we lose him for next season it will be a great loss 😔

The 2nd shout out is for Archie, he's been out a lot lately with injuries so his fitness is at its best, but he gave his all at left back even with him bring right footed, he done a solid job 👏.

We're slowly coming out of the bad form we were in, but we've got a lot of improvement to be done if we want to be competitive and pushing for promotion next season, but we got the 3 points needed today and that's what counts, we could still nick 4th spot which with such a new team would be a decent finish ⚽🏆
