Match Report: Kilcock vs Naas Prem u12

Kilcock vs Naas Prem u12 was entertaining game with Naas desparately unlucky not to come away with all 3 points.

First Half Highlights:

Naas kicked off with a couple of early chances from Kayley and Kate. Kilcock put some early pressure on Laurel, Faye and Evie at the back and were rewarded for their efforts in taking a 1-0 lead. Minutes later they were awarded a controversial handball that double their lead from the spot. 2-0

Despite the setbacks, Naas fought back with Amelia performing brillant runs down the right getting us back into the game. Kayleigh stuck back with brillant taken goal 1-2. Katie never stop running and tackling on the wing while Claire bossed the midfield. Naas were however unlucky again to concede a goal against the run of play 3-1 to Kilcock.

Second Half Highlights

Naas really turned the screw in the second half with Rosie very unlucky to miss a chance before brillant play from Sara in midfield to slot pass the keeper 3-2. Naas were brillant at the back with Laurel,Faye and Grace not giving Kilcock a chance. Lauren as always brillant in goals and setting up the attacks.

Naas were then awarded a penalty but were denied by good Kilcock goalkeeping.

Naas eventually got the equaliser for all their hard work with Kate Gallagher slotting home 3-3. Amelia went close hitting the post just after. Alana had a good chance at the end that was saved.

Naas were overall incredibly unlucky not to leave with maximum points for all their efforts. Despite the result you could see the great teamwork and determination as this team continues to grow.
