U13 Calcio Talent & Select - UFCA
In what was a totally dominant display from start to finish, Calcio ran out 8-0 winners Vs UFCA Whites.
The first period began with some direct play from Calcio, creating several chances before Tom Jarvis opened the scoring with a lovely finish inside the box. We settled into our rhythm in the second period, with some classy playing out from the back, switching play at will and utilising our active wide players, especially Charlie and Ted down the right. This led to two more goals, both converted by Jack.
The second half continued much in the same vein but with a more intense press when out of possession. This led to trialist Noah scoring the first of his two goals with an intuitive interception and calm finish into the bottom corner. The half was action packed and the scoring continued, with Luca scoring on 50', Matty Bilmen on 75' and Jack completing his hat trick in the final moments of the game on 78'.
A fully committed finale to the season was absolutely fitting as the lads have been on it from the opening game. The fitness, physicality and desire has been exceptional and underpinned everything we did this year. The boys can be proud of their league record and performances and it has been a pleasure coaching them all!
