U10 Orange - U10 Vision phoenix

Leamington Juniors made the journey to Nuneaton for a challenging away fixture against Vision, a team that often proves to be a formidable opponent.
The start was promising for Leamington Juniors, as they created a couple of half-chances early in the match. However, Vision played with decisiveness and capitalised on their opportunities, taking the lead. Vision introduced LB Juniors to what's often called the "dark arts" of the game—player pushing, shirt pulling, and shorts grabbing—which aided their domination in the midfield. By halftime, Leamington Juniors found themselves trailing 4-0.
Despite the scoreline, halftime proved to be a turning point for LB Juniors as they regrouped and upped their intensity during the second half. They began crafting more promising opportunities, although most were directly at Vision's goalkeeper. The challenge of having just one substitute and enduring the intensifying heat took its toll on the players, ultimately leading to a 6-0 defeat against Vision Panthers.
Reflecting on factors that might have disrupted our rhythm, I believe that two cancelled games over Easter may have hindered the team's momentum. Nonetheless, there were notable individual performances deserving of praise:
1) Fin Paget: For his relentless work up and down the wing and his determined, never-give-up attitude, Fin earned this week's Man of the Match. Well done, Fin P ! 👏🙌👍💪
2) Lev: Showed admirable character and played a good game—well done, Lev! 👏👏
3) Special thanks to Benji and Teddy for volunteering to take on the crucial role of goalkeeper, showing great team spirit.
