Superb team performance and potentially one of our best.

Thought we did a lot better keeping possession and the work rate and attitude to win the ball back was closer to the intensity we want to see every week, in training and games.

In possession, for the majority of the game, we were a lot calmer on the ball and made good decisions around when to pass and when to stay on the ball. It was great to see us playing out from the back with confidence and bravery, recognising when to break the lines and play into the strikers feet.

There were so many good moments, I’m not sure where to start. Parents, please feel free to share your favourite. For me, in the second quarter, I did love Archie’s marauding run down the left wing, followed by him driving to the by line and then drilling the ball across the box for Joshua to tap it in. A fantastic team reaction to conceding a goal only a few seconds earlier.

Shout out to our goal scorers, Max and Joshua who were clinical and calm in front of goal. Joshua congratulations on the six goals - that brings your tally against Richmondshire up to nine!

Overall, like I said, a superb team performance, with the goals coming from some impressive team play and assists from Isaac (2), Monty, Archie, and Patrick.
