U11 Blacks - Soccer Hub FC

I actually thought we played pretty well today barring a really poor 10 minute spell, where we constantly turned the ball over in our own half, were slow with our press, and rightfully got punished for it! Thought the first quarter was arguably some of the best football we’ve played all season.

As soon as we went 3 goals down it was going to be a massive struggle as we had to make the game quite open and take risks. We were too impatient at times to play forward, and didn’t stretch the pitch enough (and as a result Soccer Hub's backline to create gaps for runners behind). This made the game quite scrappy and led to lots of turnovers/counters.

Still on another day I think it’s a completely different game and once again the boys showed positive emotions & attitudes despite trailing the entire game.
