U9 Calcio Garforth - U9 Calcio Wetherby

In what was an entertaining and free-flowing game, Calcio Garforth U9's beat Calcio Wetherby U9's 11-2 in their first competitive development fixture.

With some excellent football throughout, we demonstrated many of the principles of play that we have worked so hard on this season. Playing out from the back with Aaron (happy birthday mate!) regularly finding wingers and Raff always available in midfield to link defence and attack. Our final third finishing was clinical, with some excellent shots from range and converted crosses all in evidence during this performance.

Notable statistics were 4 goals each for Jude and Oliver and 6 assists for Mr Assist Isaac! Statistics will be kept for these matches and are available to view in sport member should you wish to do so.

Opposition coaches Man of The Match went to Oliver Ritchie with another fine performance from the pacey winger.
