Girls U10's - Leafield Athletic Panthers
A very pleasing performance from the girls today against a newly formed team - Leafield Panthers in the first round of cup games.
The girls achieved their 5th straight win playing some lovely football today. It was a bright start by Stockton and it was Ivy who gave us the lead after two minutes, keeping her composure to tuck her shot away. The first of her incredible 7 goals today.
With the ball bouncing around the box, it was Molly who added to her tally for the season, unleashing a powerful shot from a tight angle which flew in to the bottom corner of the net.
In defence, Edith, Rebecca and Amelia were reading the game very well, holding firm and making some very timely blocks.
We continued to play the game with the same energy and we were passing the ball with great confidence.
We added further to the scoreline with goals from Sienna, Ivy and also new girl Daphne playing her first game for us and scoring the first of her two goals - a performance which earned her a very well deserved managers player of the game.
The goals continued to flow for us in the 2nd half with Daphne and Molly adding to the scoreline with their second goals.
Leafield grabbed themselves a consolation goal before Ivy bagged her 2nd hat-trick of the match.
It was a great team performance and all of the girls should be really pleased with their individual performances. Well done 👏🏻
