U11 Blacks - Calcio Football Centre

A good test for the boys against a really competitive Calcio. Struggled in the first two quarters in recognising where the spaces to exploit were, often playing through the centre when playing around/in behind might've been more effective. 

From half-time onwards the boys were excellent. Exploited the spaces down the sides far more effectively, and the timing of the passes and runs beyond was much improved. 

Off the ball the same intensity was kept throughout. Our press was a focus of sessions during the week so it was pleasing how effective this was, with the first goal being a great example (1st line shows inside and arcs their run, 2nd/3rd line being aggressive and making contact/stealing).

Continued a really good start to the season for the boys.
