U17/8 JPL 24/25 - Chipperfield Corinthians

Home v Chipperfield Corinthians- The game was delayed by 20 minutes to allow for the away team to arrive as they were stuck in traffic. The girls did well to maintain their focus, with a clear message to start strong, well they didn’t disappoint with Grace popping up on the edge of the right hand side box to score a great goal in the first minute 1-0.

We continued to dominate with Remi coming close on a few occasions. In fairness we should have gone in at halftime with at least three goals up.

Second half began with more of the same, controlling long periods but not finding that killer goal, until the 65th minute, when Remi finally got her deserved goal 2-0.By now the girls were playing some good attacking football with Remi coming close on a few occasions. 68th minute and up Remi popped again with a low drilled shot from the right giving the keeper no chance 3-0.

The game continued with us dominating but not able to find another goal. A small lack in concentration let in the opposition late on with the game Finishing 3-1
