U15 Turquoise 24/25 - Berkhamstead

Another excellent performance from this team who are improving week on week. Where we have got to is amazing and there is so much more to come! Those first points are getting closer!

We welcomed Berkhamstead to Churchgate on Saturday in hope of building on the encouraging display from last week….and we certainly did that! 

2-0 up within the gist 15 mins thanks to two goals from Sofia. The fist a well worked move with Chloe providing an assist and the second coming from Sofia’s persistence to press their keeper! More chances followed for both teams and despite being denied a stone wall penalty for a foul on Sofia the girls kept battling. Unfortunately Berkhamstead took their chances and we went in at the break 3-2 down - probably undeservedly.

The 2nd half was another good half of football with Goffs shading it on chances and play and despite throwing everything at it we couldn’t quite muster the equalizer. We went close on a number of occasions but it just wasn’t meant to be! Still looking for that bit of luck this season!

despite the defeat this was an excellent performance by all the girls and the improvements I am seeing week in and week out are fantastic. All the girls were excellent today but some superb individual performances from Phoebe, Summer on debut, Chloe, Tilly, Sofia and the POTM our Skipper Bryony!
