A super performance in our first league game of the season against one of last season’s cup winning teams.

We put Alvechurch under pressure from the very start as they struggled to cope with the pace and firepower we have in our team.

It was Imogen who burst forward from defence to intercept a loose ball and finish into the bottom corner to open the scoring.⚽️

Maisie’s shot from the edge of the box was well saved by the goalkeeper but Isabelle pounced and scored from the rebound.⚽️

Imogen got onto the end of an Alvechurch throw and cleverly knocked the ball forward, Emily ran onto the pass and powered a shot into the net.⚽️

The fourth goal came after a great run forward from Isabelle found Hattie in the box who finished past the keeper.⚽️

Alvechurch got one goal back but didn’t cause too many other problems. We looked much stronger defensively today with the midfield and defence working really well together and Elsie solid in goal.🧤

Arabella won player of the match for brilliant individual performance and a great battle with the Alvechurch number 7.
