U12 Black - Whitley Juniors

At last the season has started for these boys!

Today I asked for a team performance with the right attitude and to show our quality on the ball. And overall that part went really well.

A great reaction to conceding an early goal. The boys didn’t panic and moan at each other. They got the ball back on the centre circle and started playing football. 

Whenever we played quick passing and got our 1 2s going the opposition couldn’t really get near us. 

Our pressing from their goal kicks was brilliant. Forcing them to play long and still winning the ball first. Our build up play from goal kicks was great, playing through midfield and finding the attackers.

On another day we could have scored 7 or 8.

A lot to build on and a decent start to the season ⚽️

A few very good contenders for player of the match. Adam was very close, being so calm on the ball is vital for our build up play.

Noah also came close, the leader on the pitch and played some great passes.

Ezra got parents player of the match. Fits in brilliant with this team and had a big positive effect on it.

Jacob was my player of the match. Positive encouragement and great attitude. Produced Some bits of magic with his dribbling.
