U12 Blacks - AC1

THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND OF THE CUP

The U12 Blacks progress into the next round of the cup, with a closely fought game against AC1. The opposition came out the blocks firing going 1-0 after 3 mins, with an unusually nervy start from the boys playing out from the back. AC1 continued to apply the pressure and were unlucky not to go further ahead with a number of chances.

The Blacks started to click into action and settled down and caught AC1 on the counter scoring twice in quick succession. The team had a period of dominance and moved away from the opposition in the second half.

A sloppy goal from a corner, give the opposition hope, and they capitalised late on to make the game 4-3, the last 8 minutes, could have seen AC1 equalise on a few occasions, but the team showed great character holding out to move into the next round of the national cup.
