U16 JPL 24/25 - Bedwell Rangers

So today we welcomed the current Division 1 champions for past 6 years so we knew it would be tough. They set up 4-2-4 which I’ve never seen before and it was obvious very early how they’d play. It was literally hoof it forward and we found ourselves 2 down very early on. The girls dug in and kept playing some really good football the way the game should be played. We had a few half chances but they had the best keeper we’ve faced. HT 0-2

Second half we definitely was having more possession and looked a threat and nearly came close with a great run from Ciara who just shot wide of the left upright. Chloe also had two or three good chances but one was over the bar and the other two the keeper saved. The away team didn’t create too much but clinically found the back of the net 3 more times. 

FT 0-5 

Definitely wasn’t a 0-5 game and wouldn’t want my team to play football in that way. 

POTM went as a team effort as the girls never gave up and improved performances from last week.
