Girls U12's Lionesses - Heath Ballerz
U11’s Lionesses were away today at new team Heath Ballerz in a re-arranged Cup fixture.
The game started with Stockton having most possession creating some good chances which were thwarted by the Ballerz keeper.
We finally broke the deadlock with a fine goal by Emma to get us underway in the scoring. The girls were playing some nice football, trying to keep the ball on the floor and pass to each other when we could.
Two quickfire goals by Layla showing nice feet and tidy finishes to her total for the season to 12 goals. With the game fully in our control the goals continued to flow with a rocket of a right foot shot from Sophia into the top corner and two quick goals from Mimi one of which was a lovely curling left foot finish.
The second half began with the girls challenged to keep hold of the ball and possession as much as possible, and they didn’t disappoint with some nice passing and moving to retain possession.
The girls continued with the scoring even with the powerplay being active, some really good goals today from all the girls ! Emma scored a beauty to add to the total, followed by two more great strikes by Mimi.
Mona added her first goal of the game with a determined finish having had 4 opponents try and stop her on her way to a nice right foot finish, great work Mona !
Sophia added three additional goals to make her tally for the game to 4 and her season tally to 10 so far.
Emma scored her third to complete her hat-trick and 14th of the season to date.
Erin ended the scoring with the last kick of the match having seen her penalty saved brilliantly by the Ballerz keeper but Erin managed to put the rebound away.

Managers player of match – Jessica – showed confidence with her tackling, control and dribbling and unlucky not to score.
Parents player of the match – too many to choose from with some quality goals, great defending and general team play – All Players get the vote !
