FRESH START

Not best result for us but the boys have tried their absolute best.

The season starts again and that's the quality of teams that we are going against. 

We showed our quality and we matched them for 15 mins or more with score 3-3 then some of the boys got tired and couldn't push more. Absolutely proud of those 15 mins and once we get more training and games in our legs, we will be fit and compete for the whole game.

Key takes from the game:

- We got some good passing today and could switch play nicely 

- Great press at the front but we need be more balanced as our back line was over loaded today with long balls

- We need to work a lot on dribble ins marking and press as the other team scored 5 goals from that in the last 10 mins

- We need fitness sessions and possibly some home workouts for boys to get back to match fitness after the long break

Highlights of the game:

Best Player: Oscar was everywhere today and he was the major threat and the only one with Basant that carried ball forward. Absolutely Superb today

Best goal: Dom goal from goal to goal, clean strong strike

Best save: Alfie great dives today in the last quarter was really good 

Overall, I was expecting much worse today especially against such a strong team who was T1 last year, that didn't get a break between seasons and just played a friendly  on Thursday and we just had 1 training session only. Great effort from boys today. Can't ask for more. Next game will be better 💪🏻💪🏻
