Boys U10's Lightning - Hockley Heath U9s

First game of the season, and after a disappointing pre season,  the boys knew they had to improve individually and as a team.

The first half was well balanced with both teams having good phases of football. Both keepers played really well to end the first half 0-0

Stockton were the slower team to get going in the second half. Within the first five minutes we were 0-2 down and struggling with the heat. The Hockley Heath goalkeeper was really on form, saving everything that came his was. This was unil a hard low drive on goal by Charlie T was too much for him to keep out, putting the game to 1-2

Stockton piled on the pressure in the last ten minutes, but a late strike was unstoppable to put the game out of reach at 1-3.

Lots of positives came out of the game, in particular a player of the match performance from Ethan R on his Stockton debut.
