U10 Orange - G..N.P sports Tigers

Match report:

Leamington Brakes U10 Orange 2-6 GNP Sports Tigers U10 

A tough game with Brakes only having 7 players meaning we had no subs. 

The lads played well in the first half and were a bit unlucky to be 2-0 at half time, GNP were good on the break and punished us when we lost the ball. 

We had a great start to the 2nd half with a lovely turn and left foot finish from Fin P. Unfortunately GNP hit back soon after, again on the break to go 3-1 up…. The lads tired through the 2nd half as GNP took control to go 6-1 up. We stuck at it though getting forward with runs from Teddy, Vish and Fin and managed to get a late goal from Harry with a nice left foot finish into the bottom corner.

Final score 2-6.

Man of the Match: Harry… Scored his first goal for the Brakes and did well supporting attacks throughout the game.

Special mentions:

Fin P scored a lovely goal to get us back in it and did well taking on the number 9 role.

Vish and Teddy made some good forward runs and showed neat dribbling.

Seb did well in defence and got us out of trouble on numerous occasions with his good covering.

Freddie in goal again did well to prevent further goals. With some good saves.

Some things to improve on in training, particularly in midfield when we loose the ball and working on our build up play from the back.
