Corby Warrior Knights 2 -3 Mambas 

Great for the boys and all involved to get a win before Christmas! 

We started with wingers today to press higher upfield in a 3-1-3-1 and it worked well first half. We open the scoring with Kieran making a great run and finish from a Dominiks through ball.

Dominiks then extended our lead pressing their defence, won his tackle and ran through to score with a great finish. A deserved 2-0 Mambas halftime lead. 

Second half we gradually sat a little deeper in midfield and it invited them on too much. However, I thought all the defenders and Logan did well to compete and win their tackles. 

As a team we need to do better at organising corners. We let them back in it with poor marking 1-2, before Nathan, after earlier hitting the post, gave us back our two goal advantage 1-3. We changed to a 3-4-1 to tighten up but then conceded again from another corner making it 2-3 and had a frantic end to the game. 

But the boys dug deep and the whole squad contributed to a well deserved win! 🙌🏻 FT 2-3
