Boys U10's Lightning - Tysoe Tigers

This was by far the boys toughest opponents in a long time, and unfortunately ended our unbeaten start to the year.

The first half was evenly matched with both sides creating good chances, but with strong defending from both sides the game went to half time with either side unable to find the back of the net.

Tysoe came out the more switched on in the second half, and were soon rewarded with their efforts. Stockton continued to defend well but struggled to get the ball in the final third to create any goal scoring opportunities. We were soon caught out on a counter attack, with a good finish to put the game to bed.

Plenty of positives came out the game, with Rocco putting a good shift in goal second half. We defended well, closed the ball down well, but couldn't find our way through a well drilled Tysoe Tigers defence.
