Girls U11's Wildcats - Knowle Swifts

The Wildcats unbeaten run has come to an end but it was a good battle this morning against Knowle Swifts in front of a bumper crowd!

The Knowle no.15 was the stand out player today and ultimately won the game with a very impressive shot into the top corner.

There was lots of even individual battles throughout the match but all good natured and it was great to see every player from both teams getting stuck in.

The first half was very even, as was the second for large parts. Wildcats nearly took the lead with a shot midway through the first half from Emily who was through on goal but the goalkeeper made a really good save down low.

Knowle grabbed a couple of goals just before half time, both from corners.

Rosie got us back into the game though just after half time with a great shot from just inside the box. ⚽️
