Rising Hope Rattlesnakes (year 4 Sept 2024) - Corby Hellenic Fisher

A great team performance today from the lads. Everyone gave an outstanding effort. 

We had a league debut for James who showed off his speed and cleared the ball well at times. I thought he was going to get a goal as well but unfortunately it didn’t sit right for him. 

There was a lot of similarities from last weeks game with Joel and JJ continuing their great form each bagging a brace. Filip also getting a goal and Archie unlucky not to get on the scoresheet due to the crossbar (the same spot as well). 

Oliver commanded the midfield with his strength and reading off the game leaving little work for Cameron and Jaxon to do throughout much of the match. Nicholas was unfortunate also as he had an opportunity I thought he was going to score (it will come). Finley had a quieter game but still showed his strength when the chance came his way. 

Our star players of the match were awarded to Tom for his sheer effort throughout, winning the ball high and dropping back for cover. He even had a few decent efforts at goal. Our other star player was Filip for his work rate and effort. He gave a great effort in front of goal, and team working with the other players upfront to constantly harass the opposition and win the ball back for the team. 👏🏽👏🏽🏆🏆
