Girls U9's Lionesses - Leamington Lions U9s

A unfortunate lose for the girls today, they played some really positive football they just couldn't keep the opposition from scoring. 

First half:

A strong start saw the girls make some incredible passes, a couple of one twos and through balls. 

Phoebe opened the scoring, with an incredible run and a nice finish. 

Leamington reacted quickly, our defence just couldn't keep them out. 

Our goalie Grace made some astonishing saves keeping the scoreline down.

The defence tracked back and kept fighting. 

Second half:

Some changes and motivation, the girls were ready to go again. 

They came out strong with some positive forward play. 

Some chances for nearly everyone on the pitch to score today. 

Unfortunately Leamington converted more chances than we did, our girls didn't stop continuously defending and pushing to score some more. 

Probably the best football we have seen the girls play this season so far, well done all !!
