U11 Orange - Alvis Juniors (U10) Colts

Another test against a talented Tier 1 opposition as U10 Purple played host to Alvis Juniors Colts at Campion this morning. 

The stronger side in terms of energy in the first half, it took only a small break in concentration to see us concede just before the stroke of half time.

A subtle change of tactics saw Theo Sleem rotate with Theo Emery with the former taking position at the back alongside Cameron Lees to ensure a second half shut out, whilst the latter pushed on into central midfield, dictating play and setting up Josh Foster for the equaliser within a minute of the restart. 

Emers then went on to score a brace with supply from Josh and Brayden and completing a hatrick in the dying minutes with a cracking individual effort from a free kick that saw him pip Josh to POTM!

Thats 2 in 2; a solid 6 points and top of the cup group going into game 3!
