U10 Orange - U10 Coundon court

Leamington Brakes showed resilience and skill in their match against Coundon Court, today overcoming an early setback to secure a 3-1 win. Initially, Coundon Court took an early lead in the first half, pressuring LB's defence. However, Leamington's strong defending and goalkeeping, particularly by Benji, kept us in the game despite opposition attacks.
The moment came when a well drilled corner saw Teddy capitalising on a low, driven ball to equalise, giving confidence into the Leamington side. Just five minutes later, Finley G, controlling the ball outside the right of the box before striking it into the net's roof. This shot gives Leamington a 2-1 lead.
The second half featured a determined Coundon Court trying to regain control, applying significant pressure, which resulted in a couple of goalmouth scrambles. However, LB's composure prevailed. Tactical substitutions and rotations saw Sam Markham moved to the left wing. When a ricochet favoured him, Markham artfully curled a shot past the keeper, extending LB's lead to 3-1.
