U12s Calcio Talent & Select - First Touch FC

A superb comeback from the Calcio boys ensured we left Hull with a deserved point.

Half way through quarter 2 we found ourselves down 2-0 against a team with a long ball game plan. A change to a 323 formation allowed more security at the back and width at the top, and we found ourselves up 3-2 come the end of period 3 following goals from Zac R and Heath x2.

Another equaliser from First Touch created some nerves in what I’m sure we would have succumbed to a matter of weeks ago. However, the fight and aggressive play of our boys without the ball ensured we kept battling, finding ourselves up 4-3 by Finn, before another comeback meant the game ended 4-4.

The lads have shown real character these past few weeks and the progress in such a short time is remarkable. Excited to head down to Sheffield this coming weekend.
