AWAY vs. St Finbarrs Phoenix U10 (Autumn Cup)

A tough afternoon against a strong opposition. 

Both teams gave it 110% for the full 50 minutes and despite the end scoreline finishing 2-1 to the home side which left us tied with St Finbarrs for top spot in the cup group on 7 points each, Brakes will proceed to the semi-finals on a far superior goal difference thanks to top goal scorer Theo Emery's haul in the last two games!

The scorer of the day was Charlie Steele, pouncing on a missed opportunity from Issac to finish after the hosts drew first blood after only a few minutes of the game. 

A great performance from Finley in terms of applying what he has been working on in training, listening to instructions and staying close to his man on the right wing for his 25 minutes of game time today saw him pick up POTM.
