I think it says it all when even the opposition manager didn't know what to say about the final result. He was almost embarrassed that they had won. If you had said after the first quarter that we would lose that game 5-1.. I wouldn't have believed it.

Isaac and Gabe helped out the FC today and both put in a fantastic shift. Massive thanks to those boys.

Good football, desire, created and won their 2-1 overloads, looked to build from the back, looked to drive into space with the ball, looked to beat a man when they could - what more can we ask of the boys today.

A couple of individual errors at the end let the scoreline slip away. It was 2-1 to Wandgas going into the final quarter and we certainly looked in the ascendancy. Jojo capitalised on a mistake when tirelessly chasing a ball through from Louis to get his first of the season - great effort.

But it was an unlucky mistake that led to the oppo going 3-1 up early in the last quarter that knocked all the wind out of the boys. Their keeper made an incredible save to stop us clawing back, and then scored two goals in quick succession to grab the win.

The result in absolutely no way told the whole story. The boys were desperately unlucky - the theme of the season so far.

But we challenged them to leave it all out there in the final quarter. They definitely did that. And we can't ask any more from them that that.
