Boys U15 (2010) Premier - Kill Celtic
Naas Prem team put last weeks nervy win against Monasteravin behind them and put in a fantastic performance against Kill Celtic putting 7 against their opponents. In truth Naas were far superior than Kill Celtic and it could have been double figures in truth.
Naas played some wonderful football in the first half and the game was over as a contest by half time. Ned Keogh led the way up front with a first half hat-trick, his second of the season- not bad for a lad who only moved up front this season.
Andrew O Toole got in on the act and got his first of the season after an assist from Aaron O Donnell. The 5th goal came courtesy of a delightful header from the excellent Evan Malone, following some wonderful football.
Naas management brought on the cavalry at half time and made some positional changes. Naas created a ton of chances in the second half but were a little wasteful in front of goal, with Kill defending well at times and their goalkeeper making some great saves.
The 6th came mid way through the half with Aaron O Donnell slamming the ball in from the edge of the box.
The 7th and final goal came from the head of Lochlainn Quinn following good work and a deft cross from Donnacha Hickey, who made a very positive impact on the right hand side.
With Naas being awarded the 3 points against Old Fort for rule infringements, this has been a very good weekend for the boys and they are right back in the league fight!!
Best for Naas were Ben Harrington, Evan Malone and the hat trick hero Ned Keogh
