U9 Calcio Talent & Select - GT Sports U9s
The boys put in another hard fought and competitive performance in our 2nd pre season friendly against GT Sports (A).
The team showed lots of positive moments, showing great bravery to play out from the goalkeeper and always showing great desire to keep receiving the ball from defence to play forwards even though it didn’t always work.
The team also showed great desire to win back the ball in high areas of the pitch very well. Working as a team to win back the ball as quick as possible and most of the time being very successful.
it was also great to see individual players like Samuel Mc Larkey and Eddie Pollard showing great bravery driving the ball from defence into midfield, showing us some great eliminations along the way. With George, Issac and Rory also showing us some great passing and good decision making when on the ball in the midfield. Harry showed us some great desire to win the ball for our team. Oscar provided us with some great bravery and decision making in the final third to help us be successful when going forwards as a team. Ethan made some amazing tackles in midfield and helped our team by making some decisions on the ball.
overall, it was a very good competitive game to watch. With some amazing things coming off individually but also as a team, which is a great thing to see.
