Girls U10's - Haunchwood Diamonds

A reversed fixture this morning at home vs Haunchwood Diamonds. The final cup game in our group and what an exhilarating game it was for all involved. 

A close and competitive game with Stockton coming out on top with a 2-0 victory, finishing top of the group winning all three of our games. 

It was even at the break with some good football on show from both teams. 

It was early in the 2nd half when we got the breakthrough, a second chance finish from Ivy after the keeper saved well from her 1st effort. 

Haunchwood were awarded a penalty after an accidental handball in the area. Harriet denied them the chance to draw level with a brilliant penalty save. 

With a few minutes remaining Ivy wrapped up the game for us, slotting past the keeper in typical fashion. 

A solid display right through the team and a performance to be proud of.
