Girls U10's - Arden Forest Wildcats

A great game for all to watch today against Arden Forest Willdcats. It was back to winning ways for the girls and a very well deserved win it was. We were a few players down today which meant a little swap of around of positions but the girls more than stepped up to the challenge. The game started brightly and was evenly contested by both teams with some good football on show. Ivy broke the deadlock after 10 minutes, escaping the defence and firing in a great shot past the keeper. Ivy continued her fine scoring form added her second goal few minutes later taking us up to half time. We switched things around in the 2nd half with Harriet coming out of goal with Molly going in. Both girls stepped up to challenge, Arden created chances to score but Molly who was growing in confidence in goal kept them at bay. Meanwhile Harriet was was enjoying her outfield time linking up really well with her teammates . Layla and Ivy went close to scoring with chances going just wide but it was Ivy who bagged her 3rd of the game after a good passing move allowed Ivy to run though and shoot firmly passed the keeper.

Lots of positives to take from the first round of fixtures and a well deserved half time break.
