Boys U13's Spitfires - Attleborough U12
Sunday 21st April
Stockton juniors u12 vs Attleborough U12
Due to fixture backlog this morning the boys had to play 2 fixtures against the same opposition back to back.
Both games were very similar with Stockton dominating the play and creating numerous opportunities. The opposition goalkeeper was probably the man of the match for them in both games.
First half Stockton got off to a flying start when Jaxon nipped in, stole the ball from the centre back and drove towards goal. He finished calmly to the goalkeepers right hand side. Shortly after that Ben scored his first of 3 remaining calm when one on one with the goalkeeper.
Stockton piled on the pressure with multiple corners and shots but were unable to beat the opposition goalkeeper. With half time fast approaching Stockton scored twice. Firstly, a quick throw in from chace found Ben unmarked just inside the penalty area. He took a couple of touches to get closer to goal and scored. The second came from a strong kick out of Jensens hands that the defender struggled to deal with, Ben picked the ball up and scored to complete his hat trick.
Half time 4-0
The boys could see the opportunity to score more goals in the second half but this led to them drifting away from working as a team and trying to score individual goals. They did however extend their lead. Firstly through a penalty from Alfie after his header had been handled on the goal line. Finally Chace made the score 6-0 with his first of 3 across the two games.
Final score 6-0
