Girls U13's - Coventry united

Stockton under 12 girls were at home vs Coventry United today.

The girls started well and could have easily been 4 or 5 nil up after 5 mins. Unfortunately the ball just wouldnt cross the line!. That changed after about 15 mins when Freya opened the scoring for us, coming inside from right midfield . 

This was followed by 2 quick goals for Helen, who had another impressive display up front. Leading 3-0 at half time, we asked the girls to keep up the hard work and keep pushing for more goals. Helen soon added a third for her hat trick, quickly followed by her 4th of the match. With a good lead, it was a good opportunity to try the girls in other positions again. 

Alyssia bagged number 5 for us, before Cov broke through and scored their only goal. A couple of good saves from Robyn kept a revitalised Cov at bay. With almost the last kick of the game, Holly scored her first league goal, which was thoroughly deserved. 

There were good displays all over the pitch again today, and the work rate was very pleasing. The girls are progressing brilliantly, and there was some impressive passing going on again. 

Very, very pleased with them all. We are lucky to have such a great bunch of girls! 

Player of the match went to to Eva, for her impressive display in midfield. And parents player went to Helen, for her performance up front , and her 4 goals.

Again, they were all excellent, and are improving every week.
