Girls U12's Lionesses - Knowle Dragons

Another strong performance by the girls today away at Knowle Dragons. 

We started well passing the ball and keeping our shape which is something we are really trying to work on each week.

Half time arrived with us two goals up after an impressive powerful effort by Emma to set us on our way and a second by Layla.

The second half brought 6 more goals with Layla completing her second hat-trick of the season, Emma adding her second followed by Mona with a right foot effort.

Sophia and Elysia added impressive goals too with some nice footwork from both and strong finishes.

We couldn’t have played well without all the other players in the team who all had good games.

Well done to Bella for staying focused in goal, Captain Peyton for a solid defensive performance with Amalia & Myanna also playing well when they had their chance in defence, with Erin, Jess & Mimi all working hard to help their team.

Myanna was the coaches player of the match for good solid tackling & playing her best in two different positions.

Elysia was parents’ player of the match for good attitude, great solo goal, making some nice passes and being consistent for a few weeks now.

WELL DONE EVERYONE ! Including all grown ups who supported from the sidelines.
