Girls U10's - Daventry Panthers

After last weeks disappointing defeat to Knowle, the girls were determined to put in a good performance today against Daventry Panthers, a team we have had many encounters with in the past.

Setting up with a 2-3-1 formation today we competed well with Daventry in the  first half with Molly unlucky not to score after hitting the same  post twice. 

HT 0-0. 

We got the breakthrough early in the 2nd half with Molly striking the ball firmly into the corner of the goal. We were dominating the game with some good forward play.  Daventry were defending well but Molly was again composed in front of goal and added another to her tally to make it 2-0. Sienna also went close with a couple of strikes going narrowly wide.

A brilliant performance from all of the girls who can be proud of their efforts today.
