Thrapston Owls 1-1 Mambas 

Great competitive game today, and a fair result over the 60 minutes 👏🏻 

Our boys were great today we are all super proud of that performance! We had the full squad with us for the first time this season and everyone played their part. 

First half both teams had chances, we started ok but grew in to the game. Oscar Plunkett was unlucky not to get on the score sheet and I thought we had a good shout for a pen. HT 0-0 

Second half we tired a bit and were sitting deeper, thought the pitch was massive today, we discussed it as coaches at half time and thought we could set up to catch them on the break which we did, and with 15mins to go a great run and finish from Nathan Szczakiel gave us the lead. 

Unfortunately we couldn't hold on, and very late on they charged down a clearance, which to me hit their strikers arm, it went in but goal given. 

On reflection as I said fair result, proud of our competitive performance, but gutted we conceded with 3 minutes to go.
