SWR U13 Lions - Swillington

What a game of football that was. The pendulum kept swinging back and forth this morning. Losing, draw, losing draw then 4:2 up at half time. 

The thing was our heads didnt go down, we just kept going. Once we got into gear and woke up from silly mistakes and been two yards behind, the football we played was good. 

MBK on the wing today was on fire, 3 goals and one assist. He got my Man of the match.

Its hard though cos all the rest know their own individual 1v1 battles and challenges! Robbie for example that second half was tremendous, bit harsh of Beav to call him Nigel Martyn, more Kevin pressman! Miles better keeper 🦉💙

The slide tackle from Sam was my highlight! He just gets stuck in! 

4-0 second half was a good positive, Jude, Maxwell and Alex played well there. We seemed alot stronger. 

Good result in the end against a strong team.

Next week its 3rd round of the cup against Tingley.
