Boys U9's Thunder - Warwick Colts

Great game on Saturday, at home to Warwick Colts. Took us a few minutes to get into it, but it turned into an action packed game! It was end to end, with both teams looking dangerous every time they went forward.

We got off the mark with Fin A making an immediate impact when coming onto the pitch, dribbling past a couple of players and then a fine finish to get us going! Fin doubled his tally later on, and wasn’t far off completing his hatrick!

Jack then added another goal for us, his first for Stockton, with a lovely finish into the far bottom corner (which led to some slightly over the top manager / dad celebrations!).

We were unlucky not to add any more goals, with the ball just not quite dropping on a couple of occasions. All round fantastic performance by the lads though, great passing, tackling, teamwork and positional sense!

Player of the match: Leo - great from Leo, solid defending to help keep us in the game and then a strong performance in goal for the final 10 minutes!

Parent’s player: Jack - really good from Jack, notching his first Stockton goal and unlucky not to add another. Continually finding space with good movement up front!
