S&L Juniors U9's - Meadow sports

we started strongly with good pressure on the ball. The boys passed with confidence and missed some good opportunities to score. There were some good crosses into the box and we were just lacking the clinical finish needed. Going into the second quarter we started as we finished the first and went 1-0 up with a quick pass from the goalie and a strong clinical finish to score. As the game wore on meadow sports began to pressure us which lead to a free kick and a goal for them. Half time score was 1-1. The start of the third quarter both teams were tiring and staines managed to finish well to go back in the lead 2-1. In the last few minutes of the match meadow sports scored again with a goal and staines had one last opportunity that bounced off the post and away for a goal kick. Final score 2-2.
