Rising Hope Mambas (year 6 Sept 2024) - Weekly Rovers Foxes

Mambas 4-3 Weekly Rovers Foxes 

A very good performance from the Mambas for about 50 minutes. The first half we were so dangerous and made a decent team in the Foxes look very ordinary. Goals from Nathan Szczakiel (2) and Oscar Plunkett. Nathan with a great solo run and finish for his second. HT 3-1

Second half we started where we left off a great strike from Oscar O'Brien making it 4, but there were signs we were playing too high a line and may get caught on the counter. 

We then seemed to lose our shape with 10 minutes to go, we were still getting forward but not back as a team which left a lot of runners from Weekly and we did well to hang on in the end. FT 4-3 

That said another Mambas win, we created lots of chances and good to see us come from behind. The boys deserved the result as we were by far the better team overall! 🙌🏻
