U13 Orange - Whitley Juniors

Well done to all the boys today - a great way to start the new season and bearing in mind we haven't trained much together this summer you all played great in those hot conditions.

A 9-1 victory with some great finishes and team movement was a great watch. Being two nil up within 5 minutes unsettled Whitley and allowed you to get into a bit more rhythm. Whilst they had chances and tried to use their quick wingers which got them in a few times our defense stood strong apart from that slight lapse in concentration just after half time.

Unlucky to Az, Aiden and Sam C for not getting on the score sheet today but there moment will come. Ez was unlucky not to get his hat trick too today but was full of his normal energy.

My pass of the match was Sam C's through ball for the goal - great vision.

MOTM today was Ruben - his 4 goals with some great finishes as well as that bullet to his nuts as he said(pardon the wording) gave to a great performance. Hopefully no lasting damage 🫣 (although all of you could have had it for your contributions to the team today). 

Top of the league after game 1 let's do the same again next week against Hillmorton 👍
