U13 Orange - Coundon Cockerels

U13 Orange 4 - 5 Coundon Cockerels.

Definitely a game of 2 halves yesterday. 

We started slowly and didn't really get into the game during the 1st half.

That's on me, for telling the  boys before ko that it wouldn't be the strongest challenge they'll face this season.....definitely won't be making that mistake again.

The 2nd half was completely different. 

Coming back out 3 nil down for the 2nd half, but knowing that we could still claw it back, and  after the boys had their say at halftime,  they came out firing on all cylinders.

Once we got our 1st goal, the passion the boys showed told us that we were back in the game.

They did so well to get it back to 3-3, but then seemed to switch off as if the hard work was done...definitely something for us to work on in training. 

Brilliant performance from SamC in CM,  really taking onboard what we want him to do...1 pass yesterday broke 2 lines for our 2nd goal. He played with great vision.

Thoroughly deserved coaches, players and parents MOTM 👏 

Some superb saves from Charlie to keep us in it, he's an absolutely brilliant GK.

Really good debut for George Rumble, he completely cut them off down the left hand side of the pitch playing LB

Kieren playing with good awareness,  judging the flight of the ball so well.

Can't wait to play them again on Sunday with the same intensity we showed in the 2nd half.
