U10 Blue | Mark Clapham - Bramley Phoenix U9

In an action-packed football match, we faced an early setback, conceding a goal just five minutes in. We appeared nervy initially but soon settled into the game, leading to an impressive comeback.

In the first half, the starting lineup featured Asa as the goalkeeper, with Oscar and Samson anchoring the defense in the center. 

Charlie took on the role of Left Midfielder, while William Clapham held the position of Center Midfielder. 

Noah patrolled the right midfield, and Justin was the forward.

Justin and William Clapham stood out in the first half, both scoring two fantastic goals and William Clapham delivering a corner kick that led to an unfortunate own goal by the opposing team. 

Noah, Charlie and Benjamin displayed some beautiful football, especially down the sides of the pitch, notably their superb passing and reading of the game helped create several goal scoring opportunities. 

Samson took over the left midfield position from Charlie and beautifully struck a goal into the bottom right corner of the net. 

Samson and Oscar were a strong force to be reckoned with in defence, displaying brilliant defensive style almost completely preventing the opposition from breaking through as the first half progressed. 

Oscar added to the excitement with a powerful long-range goal from outside the area.

In the second half, Justin took on the goalkeeper role, and the team made some adjustments. 

Noah and Josh formed the central defense, and both worked tremendously hard to prevent the opposition breaking though the middle. 

Benjamin held the position of Centre Midfielder. 

William Copley operated on the right midfield, Asa on the left, and William Osler was the striker.

The second half continued to be thrilling, with William Copley and William Osler scoring two goals each.

William Copley, William Osler and Asa stood out in the second half, their sheer determination and skilful footwork made easy work of the oppositions strong defensive wall.

Overall, it was an incredible match with a strong team performance, particularly notable was the teams impressive goal-scoring prowess. The team displayed resilience, bouncing back from an early setback to secure a well-deserved victory.
