Our best performance of the season.   I was a bit worried how the lads would react after last week's loss and then to go 1 nil down in first 5 mins 🫣, their heads could have gone down but I needn't have worried, they dominated the game from start to finish, everyone was on it today.  We spoke before the game about a few things we needed to do that wasn't done last week, more talking and marshalling our defence from Ciaran & Xavier (job done), less being drawn to the ball and being more aware of there positions especially in defence (job done) and midfielders receiving the ball in space from throw ins so we retain the ball and get on the attack quicker (job done).

Few shout outs today, I could do everybody, but I haven't got the time.  It was Marley's best game for us so far, he's his own worst critic, in past games his head went down if he didn't make the pass etc ,but today he was positive and on it he gave there left back a beating and got a well deserved assist as well 👏.

There danger player was the big lad number 16, I remember him from last season on the wing ,but he was up against our wing backs today and hardly had a sniff that's why they switched him but still had no joy ,so well done Rohan, Archie and Tyler 💪.

Lets not forget our super striker Nathanial another 5 goals wow, a couple of crackers and a couple of one on ones with keeper, his link up play was brill today too bringing others in to the game.

Parents Man of the Match was Ciaran, I've been watching him for the last 3 or 4 years now he's been brill over the years but that was his best performance I've seen from him , reads the game so well, always in the right position when needed and powerfully running out with ball to transition us into attack, an all round great defensive performance today from Ciaran Van Vijk.  

My Man of the Match was Hugh (Mr Consistent) always puts a solid performance in, today one of his best games, always so composed on the ball and puts some brill passes through for lads to get on too, he deserved a goal today and went close a couple of times, once with a great header, there keeper had to do a top corner save to stop it going in 💪, 

Top performance today lads, the fact there goalkeeper was there man of the match says a lot 👏 ⚽🏆
