The game was marked by moments of tough tackling and several fouls against the resilient Garforth Villa side.
It was great to see our players get up and no retaliation, they are all growing into great footballers showing composure and playing to the laws of the game.
The star of the match was undoubtedly Freddie Lee thanks to both William Clapham and William Osler as assist masters allowing Freddie to score four of the five goals for Garforth Villa. Freddie’s shooting and finishing flawless today.
Joshua, William Clapham and William Osler linked up really well, they all worked extremely hard to wear the opposition down by making them chase the ball relentlessly!

Oscar, Charlie and Justin demonstrated lots of determination wining the ball and fantastic football down the centre and down the channels. Their flawless performance allowed Asa show case great control of the ball to attack openings in Middleton positioning and utilise unmarked space so the team could drive at Middleton who were outmanoeuvred and outclassed on many occasions.
Despite the physicality of the game, the players exhibited great sportsmanship and determination throughout, making it an entertaining and memorable match for everyone in attendance. Garforth Villa U9 Blues left the field victorious, proud of their teamwork and outstanding individual performances.
