We completely dominated the ball & played through the thirds with the quality & composure that highlighted our strengths perfectly.

Created enough chances to score more & when we did get the second goal the ref ruled it out to everyone's bemusement as he said he didn't realize at the time it had hit the inside support bar at the bottom of the goal. He later admitted he'd got it wrong.

We would probably have scored again had their GK not cynically taken our player out to stop him shooting at an open goal from just outside the box. A clear red card in the premier League but the ref showed a yellow.

There was so much quality football from us today and if it wasn't for some refereeing decisions we'd be speaking about our most dominant performance of the season so far. Today was one of those games that sometimes happen where you get no luck at all and you just have to move on & take the positives into the next game.
