U15 Calcio Talent and Select - Yorkshire Regional Talent center

Proud of the efforts of all the players today.

We had a lot to contend with in terms of injuries & playing against a team who showed their true colours within the first few minutes of the game.

After losing 1-0 in the first quarter and then dominating the second quarter we shouldn't have been 3-0 down at half time, but far more desire is needed when it comes defending our own goal. This has been a noticeable difference between us and our opponents so far this season. We play some good football and then concede without enough resistance.

Drawing the 4th quarter 1-1 was positive and kept us in the game but unfortunately we couldn't keep it up with only 9 fit players on the pitch for the last 15 minutes.

The parents were fantastic today and I could hear the constant encouragement throughout. It made a huge difference and I could visibly see the positive impact it had on the players.

Well done to those that played through the pain & well done to everyone for such a great attitude in tough circumstances. You continued to play the right way in a sporting manner which is more than could be said for Yorkshire RTC.
